Ponce City Nights was created by Brooklyn’s Paper Garden Records as an extension of Chelsea Nights in NYC. For the Atlanta series, they’ve teamed up with Creative Loafing and PCM to bring our city something really special. The bi-weekly shindigs are free to attend and all ages. Head on over to CL to read an interview with Paper Garden’s Bryan Vaughn to get the scoop on this wonderful concert series and get a sneak peek at what’s to come!

It’s Thursday. Friday Eve. It’s getting ridiculously close to Christmas, too, and Atlanta’s Places has a very special treat for us all. It’s a dreamy new gem recorded at The Cottage called “Graves” and I guarantee you’ll listen to it a dozen times in a row.
Places will be at the EARL tonight with On Holiday, RRest and Gold-Bears. It’s $5, doors at 8:30 pm.
If you’re looking to have your face melted off, you might want to head on down to the EARL tonight for Ty Segall’s project, FUZZ.

There’s quite a bit happening around town tonight, but I would highly recommend checking out Scout Niblett at the 529. The cover is $8, 21+ and doors are at 9:00 pm.
Check out the music video for “Gun” off her most recent release, It’s Up To Emma. It’s out now on Drag City.
